Grandpa's age reducing formula

Al Lewis, best remembered as Grandpa from the original The Munsters, has passed away. People I’ve known who had dealt with him described as being energetic, sarcastic, and lecherous. He perhaps wasn’t the kind of guy you’d want as your own grandpa, but you were glad he was somebody’s grandpa.

The Associated Press does seem to have changed details about this actor, radio host, and one-time gubernatorial candidate as the day has gone on. No, they haven’t changed things about his death; it’s his birth that’s in question. When I first saw the story, the header on looked like this:

A short while later, the launch of the article had changed to this:

And yet in this updated edition, they were talking about things that he had done, well, years after he died, if you believe the header:

(Wikipedia goes with the older age as AP earlier listed, and has various dates in his bio that would accord better with that age. And hey, he and I share a birthday!)
