Review: 'til Death

The title of ‘Til Death invokes another show about a long-married couple, All in the Family, which was based on a UK sitcom called Till Death Us Do Part.  However, I don’t think that is the sitcom that series star Brad Garrett is trying to make; it seems like this show wants to be The Honeymooners, with the couple who have grown weary of each other’s manner, but still may dearly love each other underneath. (Garrett portrayed Gleason in a telemovie a few years back.)  But if it’s at all like The Honeymooners, it is without the charm. The central characters are an annoying but not particularly witty couple, who are contrasting their lives with the newlywed next door neighbors, who exist on a plane neither realistic nor itneresting.
